Vendor Information & Rules: Canadian Food Expo 2026

We are thrilled to welcome you as a vendor for the Canadian Food Expo 2026. To ensure a professional, safe, and successful event for all participants and attendees, please review the following rules and requirements.

 

1. Registration & Fees

  • Food Vendors: $150

  • Non-Food Vendors: $75

  • Payment: All fees must be paid in full at the time of registration to secure your booth space. Registration is not confirmed until payment is received. Please e-transfer the payment to info@saffronhub.ca

 

2. General Rules & Conduct

  • Alcohol Policy: The Canadian Food Expo 2026 is a strictly alcohol-free event. The sale, distribution, or consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited. Any vendor found in violation of this policy will be asked to leave the premises immediately without a refund.

  • Space Allocation: Vendors must operate strictly within their assigned booth space. Aisles and walkways must remain clear at all times for attendee traffic and safety.

  • Setup & Teardown: Vendors must be fully set up by 11:00 am on the day of the event. Teardown must not begin before 9:00 PM.

  • Cleanliness: Vendors are responsible for keeping their booth area clean and free of debris throughout the event.

  • Conduct: All vendors are expected to act in a professional manner. Disruptive or discriminatory behavior will result in immediate removal from the event without a refund.

 

3. Food Vendor Requirements

  • Food Handling Certificate: All food vendors must possess a valid Food Handler’s Certificate. A copy of this certificate must be submitted with your registration, and a physical copy must be kept on-site at your booth throughout the event.

  • Certified Kitchen Requirement: All food items offered for sale or sampling must be prepared in a health-department-certified and licensed commercial kitchen. Proof of kitchen certification or a valid commissary agreement may be requested for review by event organizers or local health inspectors.

  • Health & Safety: Vendors must comply with all local health department regulations. Vendors must be prepared to demonstrate proper temperature control and sanitary food handling practices at all times.

  • Sampling: All food samples must be served in a sanitary manner. The use of individual serving cups, plates, and single-use utensils is mandatory.

  • Electrical/Equipment: Please indicate during registration if your booth requires electrical power. Vendors are responsible for providing their own CSA-approved extension cords.

 

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made before September 10, 2026  will receive a 50% refund.

  • Cancellations made on or after September 10, 2026 are non-refundable.

 

5. Liability

  • The Canadian Food Expo is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property belonging to vendors. We strongly recommend that all vendors carry their own liability insurance for the duration of the event.
